ADAS Calibration

What is ADAS?

Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) might sound like futuristic technology, but safety features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Blind Spot Detection are now common features on many new makes and models. These advanced safety systems use cameras and sensors located on the front (including mounted in the windscreen) back and side of the vehicle that monitor your vehicle’s speed, proximity to other road users and minimise the chance of any collisions.

MJ Windscreens

Why should your windscreen camera be calibrated correctly?

Whilst your windscreen is being replaced, the cameras on the windscreen need to be uninstalled from your broken windscreen and reinstalled to the new one in exactly the correct position by one of our IMI Accredited technicians. This could be the difference between avoiding an accident or not and keeping you safe.

What you get from MJ Windscreens

MJ Windscreens has invested in the specialist ADAS calibration equipment from Hella Gutmann Solutions. Once your vehicles windscreen has been replaced by us, the calibration of your vehicles camera and sensors will be calibrated by one of our IMI Accredited technicians. We will then issue you with a calibration certificate, so you know your vehicle is safely back on the road which is paramount to what we do.
